Meet Jake. He was my sister and her family's chocolate lab. "Jakers" was a huge part of our family. My sister saved Jake from the SPCA in 1991 and he was such a loyal and devoted family member! Jake lived until 2002 until his allergies took a wrong turn. Poor Jake suffered from sever allegies and went through shots and steriods to keep him itch free. Between the medications and his body, the allergies won the fight. Putting him down was hard for everyone because he was such a loyal and loving old boy!!! Sleep well Jakers, your mommy and daddy, and human brother will be looking for those silly "frog eyes" of yours at the Rainbow Bridge.....Until then, we all love and miss you dearly!!!!
